Organic Cardamom from Guatemala to Taiwan
From farm to table, we worked with small cardamom farmers with favorable contracts to export their produce to our clients in Taiwan in the food industry.
This project was extremely interesting for us because before execution, no one on our team knew anything about cardamom. That been said, cardamom is one of the main valuable spices used vastly in Asian and Middle-east cuisine. Moreover, cardamom is also a valuable ingredient for oriental medicine, due to its rich content of nutritions.
After receiving inquiry from our Taiwanese clients, we started by sourcing throughout our database. Due to strict regulations of chemical remains on the buyer's end, we had to turn to countries with less usage of toxic chemicals in the production process. Luckily, we got a hold onto a Guatemalan supplier, who's samples passed the chemical-remains test with flying colors.
